ᐅ The common issue of frequently used doors on kitchen cabinets

After more than two years of living in the house, some doors of our brand-name fitted kitchen are starting to sag. That means some are sticking or have shifted one to two millimeters (about 0.04 to 0.08 inches) at the top corners to the left or right.
Certainly a great question for our expert @Neige 🙂
Is it possible to fix this yourself? And if so, which screws on the hinge control which adjustments?

Of course, you can do it yourself. Just try searching for "adjusting cabinet doors."

The front cross screw moves the hinge plate left and right when viewed from the front. This allows you to easily realign doors that are sagging. If the door is sagging, the upper hinge goes in and the bottom one comes out.
The screw at the back pushes the door in and out.

It is part of the service offered by many kitchen suppliers to adjust the cabinet fronts free of charge after 1 or 2 years. Have you tried that yet, Yvonne?

Unfortunately, we forgot to do that after one year 🙁

This is really simple. Pry off the protective cap from the hinge if present, and then slowly adjust to find the ideal position.
