Hello everyone, has anyone already installed a photovoltaic system with storage? If so: How long have you had it, which brand, and what are your experiences? Is anyone planning (like me) to install such a system soon? Given the continuously decreasing feed-in tariffs, it is definitely worth considering. What key parameters are you using for your calculations? Thanks for specific answers!

You mean something like "Metro-Cash&Carry"?

Perhaps the disadvantages should also be mentioned here. If you are already classified as a small business owner, this won’t work. Or you simply lose your small business status.

And no, we are fighting here with many contributors against one-sided views. Since one side has already been mentioned, only the other side remains to be discussed to keep the discussion balanced.

It’s always about negotiating the last percentage point of interest, claiming subsidies down to the last cent, rejecting brine heat pumps due to the uneconomical drilling costs, but suddenly economic feasibility doesn’t matter here? Someone should make sense of that.

I find it important to bring up the topics raised by @toxicmolotow here, as they are often overlooked. Online calculators usually do not take tax aspects into account, or only do so when they are advantageous (such as deducting input VAT on purchases), which is too limited.
The point about the small business status is also important, as it is gone. However, this can be circumvented if the property is registered under only one of the two builders (although if both benefit from the small business regulation, this obviously won’t help).

Where income forms the basis for calculation, photovoltaic systems lead to increased administrative work and sometimes even higher costs or reduced benefits. This applies to parental allowance but also to daycare fees or health insurance contributions.

In most cases, it is neutral due to the small amount involved. However, because of an additional 200 euros per year, instead of paying 78 euros, we have to pay 121 euros per month.

Could you please explain that in more detail? I’m interested since I don’t (yet) have a photovoltaic system, but I do have a (side) business.

So, where did this have an impact for you despite the small amount?

I don’t quite understand that either.
For a business, all applications should consider profits or losses, not just the income.
To determine profits or losses, the feed-in tariff, the "virtual income" from self-consumption, minus all ongoing costs, depreciation, and interest, are taken into account. According to your calculation in the other thread, you should be running losses for the first 10 years. Even if you already have a side business, you should be able to offset profits from it.

Filing a tax return may become more expensive due to the additional profit and loss statement form (EÜR), if you do not already have a business registered.

Please discuss this with the lady from the municipality who determines the daycare fees based on a hypothetical calculation for the year 2016. It likely affects 5 out of 1000 cases. It is not worth my time.
