Hello,

we are currently thinking about how to tile our bathrooms.
The photos show our small bathroom / guest bathroom on the ground floor.
The photos are mainly to give an idea of the layout, arrangement, and size.
This helps to visualize it well.
The color and distribution of the tiles in the photos are not accurate.
This is also my question – how would you tile the bathroom, which areas would you tile, which not, or would you tile it completely?
We are a bit undecided about how to divide the tilework.
We are quite clear about the color, though. We want very light gray concrete-look tiles, combined with dark gray wooden furniture – similar to the third photo – only the tiles should be lighter.

I’m curious about your ideas on which sections you would tile.

Best regards

I actually don’t think it looks bad at all, like in the pictures. We recently renovated our shower bathroom and tiled only the floor and shower area. The rest just received a textured paint finish.

We recently renovated our shower bathroom and only tiled the floor and shower area. The rest was simply finished with a textured plaster.

We also don’t want to tile everything completely, but the way it is shown in the photo doesn’t quite appeal to us...
We’re not very happy with the layout around the washbasin and toilet...

So, there are no tiles either behind the sink or around the toilet. It also depends on who is washing their hands there and how.

I also really like it when there are no tiles behind the sink and toilet. But we are planning for children, so we will see how that turns out eventually...

Hello,
Is there going to be a wall structure installed behind the toilet and shower? If so, it would be exactly like in our children's bathroom.
There, we tiled behind the shower and sink up to the height of the wall structure and the shower up to 2.10 m (6 ft 11 in).
