ᐅ Do photovoltaic systems and heat pumps share similar performance characteristics or operational experiences?

Hello dear forum members,
Since Monday afternoon, my photovoltaic system has been up and running, and I have to say... I can’t stop smiling.
Here are the details:
Today’s performance:

The gray line represents household consumption, the blue and red areas show production, where the blue part was self-consumed and the red part was sold.
You can clearly see the washing machine running in the morning, the regular starts of the heat pump, midday consumption, and even the not-so-optimally started dishwasher after 6 p.m.
For a (very good) day in March, I’m more than satisfied. The only thing is that the heat pump in the early morning isn’t yet running as efficiently as I’d like. But I guess only a battery would help with that, and that still seems uneconomical to me.

- Peak power limitation 70% soft
- Flat roof, mounting angle 10°
- Orientation southwest, about 45° off south
- Feed-in to household electricity including heat pump
- Surplus energy sale
- no battery storage

However, I did not go with the cheapest supplier.
The panels come from Taiwan and are not part of the low-cost Chinese production; the rest of the equipment is from Austria.
Yes, the funding comes from the KFW 153 repayment subsidy program.
I am still analyzing and adjusting the system because the inverter shuts down without sunlight and does not record self-consumption at night.
So, I need a few more days to figure that out.
But except for the heat pump during the morning and evening hours, we achieve almost 100% self-sufficiency during the day.

Loan program 274 is the keyword, plus recently again 25% of the battery costs until the end of June 2016, if such a battery is installed. After that, the funding share will be reduced to 10% until the end of 2018.

So, a subsidy is only available if you build with a buffer tank. Without a buffer tank, you have to compare the terms; I believe for a fixed 10-year period, the rate is around 1.25%, so not really attractive.
Somewhere I had read a restriction of a maximum of 2 residential units, but I can’t seem to find that passage anymore—maybe it was from a different program.

Now I’m going to tease you a little bit or put a slight damper on your joy .
We have a system with 5.36 kWp, almost perfect south orientation (gable roof), and yesterday we had a (for early March really great) production of
29.12 kWh.
Sorry – I couldn’t resist, because I myself was amazed when I saw it yesterday.
It’s probably due to the low tilt angle of your mounting system.
I don’t think your display is bad at all. My inverter is much simpler. It only shows production.
Do you also get the value (kWh number and % of production) for self-consumption displayed? I always have to calculate that myself in an Excel table.
Is your dishwasher programmable?
I load it and start it in the morning (around 6:30 am) and then set a delayed start of 3 hours (in summer) or 6 hours. I’m trying to get my wife to do the same with the washing machine – with limited success. She does the laundry and drying whenever she feels like it.
But with small things like that, you can still shift consumption a bit.
Do you have the option to program the heat pump so that it starts heating/hot water preparation, for example, at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and then reduces operation in the evening? I have no idea if that’s possible.
