Since I have encountered various figures during the planning and consideration of our single-family house, I would like to start a thread where everyone is welcome to share all kinds of information.

I’ll start with the house of a good friend:
Type – 1.5 stories, gable roof, basement, approximately 140m² (without basement)
Heating – gas condensing boiler with about 400L (105 gallons) buffer tank and solar panels for hot water (2 panels)
Fireplace – yes, but without water jacket
Ventilation – Systemair VC400
Wall construction
- Eder Thermopor 016 – thermal conductivity Lambda 0.16 W/mK
- Insulation mineral wool rigid boards 120mm (5 inches) WLG035 and lightweight exterior plaster 20mm (0.8 inches)
- Heat transfer coefficient U-value 0.18 W/m²K
Number of occupants – 2 adults and 1 child (2–3 years)
Consumption values (as of 2015):
Water/sewage – 50m³/year (1,765 cubic feet/year) → about €250
Electricity – 2,700 kWh → about €900
Gas – 700m³ (24,740 cubic feet) → about €525 (although the house is heated a bit “too comfortably” for our taste)
Waste disposal, broadcasting fees, property tax… are very region-dependent.
I am grateful for any improvements and tips and look forward to strong feedback.

Unfortunately, I am not (yet) a homeowner and therefore cannot provide any figures, but allow me to ask what you have in mind here?
Water and wastewater usage, like electricity, is highly individual. If you take a lot of baths, you’ll use more water than if you mostly shower... and someone who usually showers at the gym might use (almost) nothing at home. The same goes for electricity: some keep the side-by-side refrigerator door open constantly, have a freezer running in the basement, cook twice a day every day, run a 65" plasma TV for half the day, and have three kids spending hours on a gaming PC, while others live away four days a week and rarely use anything at home beyond a tablet.
The only aspect you could use for comparison might be heating costs per square meter, but certainly not without considering details like plaster thickness and the type of ventilation system, right? And if you do compare, it would make more sense to use kilowatt-hours. Would “635 liters of heating oil” mean anything to you in this context?

As Vanben mentioned, a lot of cooking and two PCs often in use.
But the reason I’m posting is not the consumption, but the costs.
I pay around 930 euros for 4400 kWh (4,400 kWh)!

I can offer a city villa with 250 m² (2700 ft²) of living space (300 m² (3200 ft²) total footprint), built roughly to KfW 55 standard (geothermal heat + controlled ventilation system), for 5 people, maintaining an average indoor temperature of just under 22°C (72°F).
Electricity consumption last year: 7,048 kWh of purchased electricity costing a total of €1,388 including standing charges, plus 2,190 kWh consumed from the photovoltaic system.
The heating used about 3,000 kWh of that electricity (including hot water).

@Vanben, of course, consumption depends heavily on the individual household, but my goal is to get a general idea and build a sort of database about the approximate energy use for different heating systems and house styles.
@albert.hagenlocher, I’m glad to hear that electricity costs are low. Are the 4,400 kWh purely electricity costs for household electrical use? I’m more interested in the heating concept.
