We have our kitchen mostly finished, and our kitchen planner recommended AEG appliances.
Since I have never dealt with the technology and features of kitchen appliances before, I’m hoping to hear some experiences here.

The planned appliances are:
- AEG induction cooktop 60 cm (24 inches) HKM 65400 X-B
- AEG dishwasher 60 cm (24 inches) FAVORIT 55310 Vl0
- AEG compact solo steam oven KT8403101M
- AEG built-in oven COMPETENCE BE7004101M

I will be looking into these myself in the coming days, but maybe some of you already have experience with these devices (or their predecessors).

I’m interested to know if there have been any issues with the appliances or if you would recommend something else for a similar price.

Since a steam oven will also be chosen, a 60cm (24 inches) cooktop should be sufficient.

My wife disagrees again... A cooktop can never be big enough, indeed.

AEG offers combination units for ovens and steam cookers... or you can use a Thermomix instead of a steam cooker... but okay, this topic is getting quite off-topic.

We have an AEG cooktop, dishwasher, and automatic oven. We really like these appliances, especially the oven which has a lot of features. However, the dishwasher has now had its second malfunction within 12 months.

Thank you for the feedback.

We will consider a wider induction cooktop...

We were advised against a combination steam oven and regular oven unit. We were told it is neither one thing nor the other, and that having two separate appliances, if needed, definitely makes more sense.

I will look into the dishwasher a bit more closely.

Best regards,
Sebastian

I would say that too, as a seller
