Hello everyone!
You often see houses that are just 10 years old with stains on the facade that look like water damage inside the wall. Can anyone explain what common factors usually cause or contribute to this?
- What materials are used in the wall construction? (Calcium silicate brick plus external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) versus fully insulating blocks like Biosphere, Poroton, KLB, Ytong, etc.)
- What materials are used for the plaster?
- Poor workmanship on the wall, insulation, or plaster?
It would be great if someone knowledgeable could share their insights.
Best regards

Hello everyone!
You often see houses that are only about 10 years old with stains on the facade that look like water has penetrated the wall. Can anyone say what are usually the factors that cause or promote this? In these cases, the base coat or leveling primer is probably missing.
