Hello everyone!

The house construction is finally finished, and we are now setting up our apartment after the last joint was plastered and the final wallpaper and paint are in place. We are looking for beautiful paintings for our new home to make it really cozy, of course 🙂 We have already done some online research and found Zimmermann & Heitmann, whose style suits our taste quite well.

However, we have no knowledge about art or its value. Could someone here give us some advice on the price ratios? Are the prices of this provider reasonable?

We are complete beginners on this topic and naturally don’t want to spend more money than necessary.

We appreciate any tips!

Best regards

We have used photo wallpaper selectively. Two images are hanging, but neither is visible to visitors.

However, I am currently searching as well. For the guest bathroom. 😀 The usual Buddha or grass motifs are not my style. It should be something more unusual. 🙄

So, the idea of the wall decal saying "When we have money again, a Picasso will hang here" is really funny, but I wouldn’t put it on my own wall—I’d consider it too much of a shame 😀

We sorted that out with Steuler tiles. In our guest bathroom, a giraffe and a zebra live on a green floor meadow. ;-)

No pictures are needed there anymore.

Very cool – we had also considered that combination for a long time, but in the end, it felt a bit too bold for us... 😕

We ended up with the bright green floor tiles from that series and a border mosaic in almost the same color, featuring various shades of green, integrated into the otherwise white-tiled wall.

Why is that?

The wall decals in our "old" apartment could be removed without leaving any marks after almost 5 years.

Here, I think the quality of the adhesive surface is simply crucial.
