Yesterday, the blower door test was conducted at our place. Unfortunately, we were not informed beforehand that it would take place. I find that unfortunate, and I would have liked to be present. In our documents, I only found a note that the test is required for KFW, but no specific regulation about it.

We are very satisfied with the general contractor, but still, I would have wanted to be there. At handover, we will receive a sheet without having been able to verify the values myself.

How much does a test initiated independently usually cost?

How did you handle this?

Thanks for Googling 😉 Primarily, I was more interested in your personal experience.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to update you until 9 months from now....
I also want to experience it live, so I can fully understand your frustration.

We are desperately trying to get a construction schedule ... The site manager is a bit reluctant. We haven’t really missed anything important so far. We’ll see ...

We were always informed about important dates, even without a construction schedule plan 🙂

Hello,

We received all the KfW applications and confirmations from the developer. He also covered all the costs, even though it was not included in the contract. Therefore, we didn't mind when the tests were carried out.

Are you being charged for the costs? If a KfW home was offered, it should also be confirmed.
