Hello,
does anyone have experience with keyless entry systems for the house? For example, a fingerprint scanner, keypad, or a key fob/transponder in the pocket to open the front door?
Companies like GIRA, KIWI, etc...

Exactly this issue of power outage—are there systems with battery operation for a certain period, or is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) really necessary?

Are there any proprietary systems from manufacturers? I wouldn’t invest in those for a single-family house, as they are very expensive. Either add an extra lock to the front door (the simplest and cheapest solution) or use a different door instead.

There are still slots available in the mailbox unit for an intercom and video system

May I ask which manufacturer the mailbox unit is from, or was it self-built?

I had planned, or rather, I intend to install a sleek system again... it should not only work well but also look good on the front door.

Unfortunately, Ekey and similar options are out for me...

So far, only the GU-Security motorized lock is installed...

Why is eKey not an option for you? There are even integrations available for the handle.

The company Ercoteh is building the flush-mounted box for me.

After searching on Google, I also came across them. Are there any alternatives, or why did you specifically choose Ercoteh?
